one week down!

Saturday ended my first week on ships!!! and started my 2nd week! Very exciting. Except that I had to be up at 5:15am this morning for immigration, which is insane because as you all know I am an american, apparently if I didn't go, I wouldn't be allowed off the ship in Miami... weird... but the whole ordeal lasted until 7am... we got off our ship, went into the terminal and waited in a line, then I had to show a lady my passport, she looked at it, and then gave it back. Then I went to a guy who looked at it, found my name on his paper and wrote usa, then he gave it back again. I was then directed back on the ship. No one asked for my passport (they hold onto our passports for our entire contract), so I asked the guy that swiped my card what I was supposed to do with it, he said bring it to personell later. So I crawl into bed around 7am, mind you I went to bed at 4:15am because the 3 girls that were only here for the 1 week had to leave at 4:15am so we stayed up all night hanging out/goodbye party.... then at 7:20am the phone rings. It is the lady from personell saying that she needs my passport right now... blech. So I had to go bring it to her.

We went shopping in Miami from about 1030-230, stopping for lunch at Chili's, yum. I bought black pants so I have clothes to wear to work, yay. Then I had training for 3 hours, with a VERY runny nose... not fun.

This week I am on 6-12s, we have 25 registered.... hahhahaaa... only 6 showed up for tonight's program, this is going to be INSANELY easy compared to last week. The woman that interviewed me wasn't kidding when she said the first season only lasts one week!!

Anyway... things are still great. When I am in Belize this week I will be going to a free wireless place where I will be able to upload my pictures, so you can see the loveliness. Very exciting.
