Yesterday we were in Civi Italy. We took the train to Rome, it was about an hour. I had to change my money to Euros, which is not good. We went to Vatican City and saw Vatican square and went inside and everything. It was really stunning. Also we went to the Vatican Museum which lets you see the Sistine Chapel. It took forever to get to the Sistine Chapel, but it was worth the walk and time. It was incredible, you have to see it for yourself… it’s quite powerful and overwhelming in size. Then we stopped at a little pizzeria for lunch, delicious.
Good times in Italy.
Today was a sea day so I worked all day, but a lot less than on my last ship… only worked 7 hours!
Tomorrow we go to Athens, Greece, but I have port play so I can’t go… next time.
Also the waves right now are ridiculous, I’ve never been on water like this! The crashing is so loud I can hear it in my room and things fall from the shelves!
Here I am at the Vatican, by the Pope's window... mailing a post card... and with Casey in front of our ship.
